Meg got blindsided by a big striper before she could engage the baitrunner on her...I saw the whole thing happen right before my eyes...a full on savage hit that steamrolled off a huge amount of line before she finally turned the fish toward the boat...it does not get better than that...I'm blown away every day by the ferocious hits of striped bass in their optimum habitat...
