Mid day trip today on a bright, hot sun...the stripers were sluggish as you would expect for mid day fishing but we found some nice fish feeding right in the surf zone in water most would not expect to find them....There are definitely alot of stripers around and they are spread out over a wide range of habitat...In the river, the marshes, open beach fronts, creeks, flats...you name it & we have probably caught stripers on that type of terrain this season and we've done it using a wide range of techniques!!! I'm back at it early tomorrow morning and will post a report on what we find...Please stay tuned. I'm finding out that wind has a great deal to do with finding fish. We both played that wind Thursday with very good results. It seems that the stripers cannot hide from the sniffmeister Super Fly!
