We operate our fishing TRIPS in the Mid-Coast region of Maine, from Casco Bay to Penobscot Bay. This area features an astonishing 1000 miles of jagged, pristine coastline. We focus our efforts on the broad reach of the lower Kennebec river estuary & the outer boundaries of Casco Bay...with its countless thousands of acres of untouched saltwater flats, gnarly tides that rip over rocky structure and an intricate maze of backcountry channels, It's a fly & light tackle fishermans nirvana. Maine Saltwater Fishing Heats Up In September

September is upon us and that means one thing...FALL RUN STRIPERS!!! yeah thats right cooling water temps will put the stripers into overdrive over the next 5-6 weeks...we should see some pretty spectacular fishing as stripers, bluefish and tuna begin to gorge on the huge schools of baitfish...this morning on a crystal clear oceanside sand flat...we got into a school of jumbo stripers feeding on tiny sandeeels in about 2 feet of water...after the stripers moved on the Bluefish moved in in huge schools ravaging the flats in wolfpack formation...we'd see them finning acrossed the shallows, cast our flies and plugs into the schools...the result...huge boils and a burning drag....life is good!!!
