Maine Striper Fishing Report September 5th,2012
Yesterday I had avid anglers Scott & Judy Francisco aboard for a day of Striper fishing...we had some tough weather approaching so the window to get on some big Stripers off the beach was slim...the first stop was in sheepscot bay to load the livewell with macks then we swund the boat to the west and headed for some of my spots that have been producing some solid fish...For first time Striper fishermen Judy & Scott did a great job as we battled tough weather to get to the prime spots!!!
We have some bouncy weather ahead for the next several days so it looks like we'll be fishing inside the river...the fish should really start to school up on the ledges in the river for the next several weeks and we'll be there to take advantage of some hot action that will last into mid october!!!

Nice reward for braving the elements. Those Shoals can be nasty to navigate.
